Beer Stein Trouble

Description

Please don't ask me how I got this idea.

I just realized that I'm gonna be 21 next year & I started to think about alcohol. I was watching my friend, *Suchiniwa working on her latest work & this idea just formed outta nowhere. I thought about Meta Knight & beer, then I sketched him stuck in a beer stein. I hope he can climb out, but I'm sure he smells like beer now; drink up hearties.

Hm, I've never seen this drawn before! Quite interesting, I must say. Meta Knight stuck in a beer stein. How you got the idea was also interesting.

You're quite good at your traditional works; better than your digital you did before. However, I don't understand why the bricks in the background are more lightly colored on the bottom. I am definitely sure that the light source is up above, since the shadows on Meta Knight show that it is.
More on the shadows, I'm not sure if the dark spot over to the lower right above your username is a shadow or not. It just looks like a different color in the table, and not an actual shadow. Shadows are a darker color of the base color, so maybe if you lightly mixed in some black to the brown table, you would get the "shadowy" effect.
There's nothing that I can point out about Meta Knight himself, since he looks just fine, but his feet are a bit disproportional. His right foot that's sinking into the beer is fine, but his left foot that's trying to get out is a little too low on his body. I would imagine that the bottom of his round body is hidden by the foam. Thus, his feet should be comfortably set on the bottom/side and still look like they can attach. Here, if we remove the foam so we can see his lower body, we would see that his foot is only barely attached to his body.

The foam near Meta Knight's hands are a bit unnatural looking. Beer foam is similar to tiny bubbles, as seen here: [link] The foam you drew is a bit more like tiny clouds. I would say looking at references and studying them immensely will help you on this one.

The final thing I have to say is that your username is a bit dark on the background. If you use Paint.Net for that, or any other program with layers, I would suggest making the watermark in a new layer above the image, typing it in, and reducing the opacity a bit. That's so it has a nice, clean, official look to it.

Well, that's all that I have to say. Thank you for asking me for a critique! I'm happy to help if I did.
